Moose  Lake Dollars for Scholars scholarships are awarded based on academics, community involvement, school participation, student employment and recommendations. Students complete an application related to the above subject areas. The applications are scored systematically. Throughout the whole process, the names of the applicants are kept anonymous. Only after the awarding is completed are the names revealed, thus making the process as fair as possible.

Scholarship awards are presented at the Senior Awards Ceremony in May. The community is invited to attend this event held in the Moose Lake High School Auditorium.
